Introduction to Services

• 1. Clients of Mizuho Global CMS services can access the latest information on their accounts held with Mizuho's overseas offices.

  The following transactions information can be accessed:

  • Account balances on specified dates (Information on several specified accounts can be shown on the same screen.)
  • Movements in accounts over a specified period (Final balances and funds available are shown in time series form.)
  • Detailed statements of account credits and debits for specified periods (specified dates) (Credits, debits, and balances are shown in bank book form.)
• 2. Clients may also access from outside Japan information about their accounts with Mizuho Bank's head office and Mizuho's branches in Japan. (Information on confirmed balances, credit, and debits is available through the previous day.)
• 3. Information on accounts with the overseas offices of other banks can also be accessed. (This requires permission of the bank providing the information. Full details are available on request.)

Information is available on transaction balances, payment dates, conditions, and other matters at overseas offices.

The following transactions information can be accessed:

• Loan balances, guarantees, term deposits, forward foreign exchange contracts, letters of credit, and export/import bills

Clients with accounts at Mizuho's overseas offices may request transfers of funds online to Japan and other countries.

• *For transactions made periodically, we prepare a template for multiple use to simplify the process. (There are restrictions on their usage in some cases, and this service is not available from some offices.)

Mizuho Corporate Bank provides clients with a range of various types of information through its bulletin board services. In addition to information that is available on the bulletin board, we are considering transmitting electronic documents and other data to our clients.

• *Information on the bulletin board is provided by Mizuho Corporate Bank's head office and the offices with which clients conclude their CMS contracts. (The types of information provided may differ among offices. In addition, certain offices do not offer these services.)

Clients may also take advantage of an exclusive e-mail service that operates in the secure environment of the Mizuho Global CMS system. Using this service, clients can exchange messages with the offices where they have contracted for CMS and with help desks. Moreover, electronic files may be sent using this e-mail service, thus making it possible for clients to send and receive important information in a secure environment.

(This e-mail service cannot be used for messages among clients for the Mizuho Global CMS, and Internet mail and other addresses cannot be used outside the Mizuho Global CMS system.)
